People can enjoy more than one genre or type of music.

            WTF is "jangle" pop?

            EDIT: nevermind...

Presumably rock-based pop with big, jangly guitars.

U2 was ok-ish? WTF? But I agree they aren't as good now. Also, Aerosmith was good in the '70's.

And Radar Love sure as hell ain't know (edit: that would be "no." WTF, Seedle?) guilty pleasure. Also Twilight Zone (which I think would be great for Rock Band, fwiw).
                Some of mine:

Return of the Mack by Mark Morrison
                Into the Groove by Madonna

Gahh, there's plenty more, but I'm having a complete brain fart.

Either that or they were good and I just got sick of hearing them over and over. I guess they can't be blamed for the latter. In either case everything post-1995ish is simply unforgivable.

                    My guilty pleasure songs are:
I Need a Hero by Bonnie Tyler
and a lot of songs by Madonna

Radar Love is an awesome song, I'm not ahamed of listening to it.

                      Hotel California, The Eagles

Can't help myself when that pops up.

Music snobs look soooo cute when they get their panties all twisted up.

The Eagles are about as far from guilty pleasure as you can get... Great band.

edit: @Supr49er: I've decided that I don't think Love Shack is really a guilty pleasure either. It's a fine pop song.

Dude, what the hell music do you like? And I'm not saying there is anything wrong with disliking the Eagles, to each their own. But you post about the music you dislike a lot, I'm curious as to what you think is good.

As for whether they are a guilty pleasure, given that their greatest hits album is the best selling album of all time (or was the last time I checked) and their music is enjoyed and played by rock, pop, and country people, I think it is hard to say they are a guilty pleasure.
