What are your guilty pleasure songs?
You know, the ones you crank up the volume to in the car when you're alone.

    B52s - Love Shack
Elton John - Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters
    Golden Earring - Radar Love
And indeed there will be time To wonder, "Do I dare?" and, "Do I dare?". t s eliot

I'm Gonna Be(500 miles) - The Proclaimers, so annoying I like it.

Play That Funky Music White Boy - Wild Cherry

Kung Fu Fighting - Carl Williams.

What can I say? I like the funk.

    ACK!
Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!

The concept of a "guilty pleasure" is pretty dumb in general. There's no need to feel guilty for liking something. If other people don't agree with your assessment, that's their ****ing problem.

Catchy tunes I've always liked, just try to ignore the lyrics ( ):

Not really, just a teen in the 80's.

What's remotely homoerotic about "this glove's different because it's hers" and "let me get my hands on your mammary glands"? Stew that one over for a while.

Hand in Glove is famously gay.

There isn't a damned thing in there that suggests he's referring to a dude. It could just as easily be anal fisting with a chick. With big knockers.

The lyrics, which were written by Morrissey, tell of a love between the protagonist and another person; in his biography Saint Morrissey by Mark Simpson it is suggested that it is the platonic love for bandmate Johnny Marr. It uses lyrics like "no it's not like any other love, this one is different because it's us".

                          Keep telling yourself that.

Shoplifters of the World Unite is also totally not about people like you.

"Platonic" love between Morissey and Johnny Marr...

Oh I wouldn't be surprised if that's what Morrissey meant (notwithstanding that being a secondary source), because he was always a petty little attention whore trying to be deliberately controversial. That doesn't mean I can't rationalize away this grave threat to my masculinity any way I damn well please.

                            Oh, be nice!

Dude, there's nothing wrong with being a gaymo that loves the Smiths. I think they're super.
