      He did it to himself.

I'd use the word "farce" instead.

I'd have liked more, but I'll be content with his getting 15 years.

One conviction does not automatically prove the other. However, he has gone places best left unvisited, and now he pays a price for the journey.

This is actually a secret undercover operation. He needed to get into jail because the real killers are actually in jail on other charges, and he needs to get on the inside to hear other prisoners talk about how the real killers bragged about their deeds.

How come none of the reports can seem to agree on the sentence. Court TV said 7.5 - 30. I have heard 15 to life. Yahoo is reporting 9 years. Did anyone actually see the sentencing and tell me what the actual sentence is.

                          DD -

Judge Glass, a no-nonsense judge known for her tough sentences, imposed such a complex series of consecutive and concurrent sentences that even many lawyers watching the case were confused as to how much time Mr. Simpson got.

Mr. Simpson could serve up to 33 years but could be eligible for parole after nine years, according to Elana Roberto, the judge's clerk.

"I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it." - Mark Twain

                            LOL

I wonder if Simpson even knows:

He'd be 70 at least upon release. Could very well die in jail.
