    • Sounds good to me too.

Seriously, if we were just doing 5 Guys I wouldn't have showed up.
Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.

      • Me and MrsTroll will be in DC from December 26th through either january 3rd or maybe leaving morning on 4th

We currently will be attending a Hockey game on Friday

On Sunday @ 730 PM we will be at the Kennedy Center (Eisenhower Theater) for Andrew Lloyd Webber music

This grand showcase of Andrew Lloyd Webber's music features his biggest and most memorable hits from such musicals as The Phantom of the Opera, Whistle Down the Wind, Starlight Express, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sunset Boulevard, Evita, and more. Backed by an onstage symphony, a cast of Broadway veterans--including Tony Award nominee Liz Callaway (Cats), Shoshana Bean (Wicked), Ron Bohmer (Sunset Boulevard), David Josefsberg (Les Misérables), Eric Kunze (Jesus Christ Superstar), and Laurie Gayle Stephenson (The Phantom of the Opera)--recreates all the thrills from your favorite Andrew Lloyd Webber spectaculars. Last seen in a sold-out engagement in 2004, this new version of the concert has been personally devised by Andrew Lloyd Webber exclusively for Washington audiences and also includes the U.S. premiere of new music by the composer.

Then back at the Kennedy Center 830 PM (Concert Hall) for a New Years Eve with the National Symphony Orchestra.

Join conductor Murry Sidlin as he celebrates his fourteenth anniversary leading members of the National Symphony Orchestra in this fun-filled annual Kennedy Center tradition! In the Concert Hall, usher in the New Year with a concert of popular favorites by some of the world's most celebrated composers, including Rodgers & Hammerstein, Strauss, Dvorák, Rossini, Rimsky-Korsakov, Copland, and more. Guest soloists include NSO Associate Concertmaster Elisabeth Adkins and baritone Thomas Meglioranza.

Hailed for his "vocal distinction and expressive warmth" (The Boston Globe), American baritone Thomas Meglioranza has quickly established himself as one of the country's most sought-after singers, possessing a remarkably versatile voice that is equally at home in a wide variety of repertoire.

Performance Time: Approx. 2 hours with one 15-minute intermission.

        Program:
ENESCU - Excerpt from Romanian Rhapsody No. 1
        ROSSINI - Overture to Semiramide
        RIMSKY-KORSAKOV - Capriccio espagnol, Movements 1, 4, 5
MENDELSSOHN - Finale from Violin Concerto (Elisabeth Adkins, violin)

        DVO?ÁK - Slavonic Dance, Op. 46, No. 8

        SUPPÉ - Light Cavalry Overture

"Soliloquy" from Carousel (Thomas Meglioranza, baritone)

New Year's Eve Grand Foyer Party
Greet 2009 with a big balloon countdown, a lively party, champagne toast, and dancing until 1 a.m. with Full Swing and waltzing with the Salon Orchestra of Washington.
