Pre-drinking, the idea will be being able to make noise so we all can talk to each other. The chains tolerate that more than most. Other cheap places are ethnic : Thai, Afghani, Ethiopian, Peruvian. REAL restaurants expect a modicum of decorum and charge a lot.
Dan S jumps in to say why a chain. Did he make any suggestions? What's up with that?
