I just had an idea for a future empire

Remember the Sino-American union of Firefly? I recently got the idea of making a future fictional global hyperpower imagine its symbol as some kind of morph between the EU and Chinese flag.


Question: Now should it be red or blue?

Both have yellow stars in two different patterns as their main elements so figuring something out for those should be easy.


Second question: Would there be a way to graphically create an attractive morph of US symbols and the EU and Chinese flag.

Third question: Any ideas on backstory?

It is string theory, yes. And it is crap. It is also extremely mathematically complex. And is not physics. It is more crappy, more complex and less physics than any other type of string theory.

Yes. M theory isn't even properly defined. It attempts to unify all the other descriptions of string theory. It's an additional layer of abstraction on something which was already too abstract. Needs to be a holocaust among string theorists (more so than already accomplished). Want to watch the bloodbath.

Not that I can think of, morphs usually only look good between faces ware theirs a lot of commonality and each part morphs to the corresponding part, eye to eye, mouth to mouth etc. The flags don't have enough structural similarity.

Third question: Any ideas on back story?

A resurgent and aggressive Russia threatens China and EU, China and EU ally in opposition. China becomes democratic or Europe become fascist and further unification is necessary/beneficial on economic grounds. At least 50 years in the future seems to be the necessary time for this to be plausible.
