Continuing my thought from before: It would actually be kinda funny, if JB would in some movie, list all the remarkable things (or just his sex-partners) he did upto that point. Kindalike Homer Simpson does in one episode, when he lists all the jobs he had done so far. That would probably put it stark clarity, what a cartoon character can do, but a movie-character cant. I am imagining a post-sex-bed-scene, where she says: ´Oh James, you saved my world.´ (or something chessy like that) and he replies: ´Oh, you´d be surprised how often i did´ - ´Tell me about it´ - James starts a twenty minute ramble beginning with ´well, back in brechnew times, when i was like 50 years younger, (show her face now, having written ´WTF ?! How old are you ? YUCK !´ all over it)...´

Why not just assume that James Bond is a fake name given to each of these agents, just like how the guys in Men in Black had to permanently abandon their real names? It's easier to just suspend disbelief in this way than to overanalyze it.

And you´d find that believable ?! Why dont they give each of the ´JB´s a big sign, saying ´THE FAMOUS SECRET AGENT´ to wear at all times as well then ? And a T-shirt saying ´Villians nightmare´ on the front and ´007´ on the back of it ?

Why would they be famous? The only people that ever know his name are the same people whose secret lairs he eventually blows up.

So, how many of you have read the short story "Quantum of Solace"? A very good story, though as far as I can tell it had nothing to do with what the movie is purported to be about at all...
