Yes. Finally, a hot James Bond. Pierce Brosnan was so-so and all the others were just total dogs, but this guy? Lord knows I'd be putty in his arms. He even wants to modernize the character by having him bisexual or at least play the role, as any good spy would, if the situation called for it. See, that´s what i thought, when i heard the title: ´Quantum of solace´ - wtf ?! ´a bag full of gay´...
It is my often repeated opinion btw, that they should have made the James Bond series rather a 007-series, where each time they come up with a new actor, they´d also change the name (and character) of the agent. To me, it´s utterly rediculous, that JB is in action for like 5 decades now and he surely must have had a lot of face-jobs during this half-century. I wonder how much he spents on botox and viagra. It´s like they had called Picard Kirk... Either keep it in the 50´s/60´s setting, or move on with the charcters, i say ! And this way, they could actually have one or the other 007 die - imagine the suspension of not knowing, if he will actually survive ! Or they could have a former 007 (promoted to say, 004) help out the current 007... or join the ´dark side´... and they could indeed have a gay (or bi) 007 once, without putting it on every 007 to come (and everyone there ever was - sean-connery-bond was gay ?! please...)Comment
