  • Is Bush going to issue pardons on the way out?

I'm a bit curious about this.

What a strange question. Every President does, so I imagine that Bush would too.

I'm sure he will. But who knows who will benefit.

Can he pardon himself? Even if he did nothing wrong that would keep the wolves from the door.

He'll give pardons, like every president does. I doubt he'll give a lot of them, unlike especially Clinton.

He probably won't give one to Stevens because Stevens is unrepentant.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

This all assumes the Obama administration would bother to prosecute anybody anyway. Since they're all the same band of crooks, not likely.
                Unbelievable!

On the up side it makes it easier for the international criminal court to try them. The ICC can only go after someone if their home country refuses or can't. We'll Bush and the Republicans made sure we can't in the US so go ICC.

What did Ben say? One of the top ten presidents of all time.

                            Go Shrub!

Well, when Pinochet and Mugabe can do such, why not Bush ?
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
