Now that Obama has won the election, I don't have to hear about the upcoming election so much anymore. Peace

Obama is going to stimulate me. Bush stimulated me already, I'll let you know which is better.

After Jan. 21, I get to complain about "the man" keeping me down.

              ACK!

You might want to write it as The Man then, not "the man."

                    It wouldn't make a difference.

But, if you learned to lighten up a little, you'd be a lot happier.

I'm just peachy, unlike a lot of people who are chomping at the bit now that a black man is president.

I am actually more enlightend now, so far this week, I have been told on many occasions I no longer have to be ashamed of being a white person due to all the injustices done by "my peoples" on black people, so I guess all is squared away, no more running Roots, no more MLK celebratory dreams, no more Andrew Young weeping, no more "equal opportunity speeches", now all is on a level playing field

I am also glad to have heard from many supporters that all is possible now, and even young black boys from the ghetto can be president.

Great, so now its a Black Thing, not a U S President?

So if I go out and spew the obvious that All Presidents have been white up to now, and the country has stood strong all these years, would I not sound out of place?..perhaps..but I reckon its ok, to have "their day" as in all those who fight rascism and predjudice, to proclaim Barrack Obama as "their savior" versus President Elect Barrack Obana, the President of these United States.

Amazes me, one day its wrong to speak of a persons color or creed, next day..umm..its acceptable?

But, President Obama could indeed make my life better by not taking my money I work so hard to earn and give it to folks who are too lazy to work, no desire to get their sorry lazy @r$e out of the sack, off the street corner and do something...with expecting to make 6 figures to make it worth their while being employed.

This is how I see it, I hope I dont get taxed yet even more to cover socialism, maybe I will be better off, for me, wait and see how President elect barrack Obama handles our country, NOT how the first black president makes right all the years of oppression for his peoples...

                        Time will tell..............................

Now, to quote the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who fought equality for all, not for black people as many have suggested to me this week

The Israeli Supreme Court has basically ruled that a Jew who converts to Christianity is no longer a Jew. If Disraeli were alive today, he would not be eligible to become a citizen of Israel under the Law of Return.

Seriously, do you just go onto Poly and run a search for any mention of teh j00s or 9/11, and that's it?

Anyway that post was in response to "minority," not "Jew." Surely you know that even non-religious ethnic Jews are a minority.

Yes, I know that but apparently the Israeli Supreme Court does not.

EDIT: It actually depends on what kind of Jews who do not practice traditional Judaism, it allows atheist Jews to be defined as Jews under the Law of Return, but not Jews who convert to Christianity.

Racism does not magically evaporate in one night because of Obama's victory in the presidential election.
A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.
