    At the same time I celebrate Obama's victory due to his much more positive stance on civil rights issues concerning gays, I am also more educated on the latent homophobia among different Democrat demographic groups such as blacks and white working class.

    Thank you Obama!

        Hopefully, I won't have to hear Europeans, (well just about the entire world for that matter) tell me how racist America is anymore. Especially since none of them, to the best of my knowledge, has ever elected a person who is a member of minority that only represents 12% of the population.

                    Depends on how you segregate. Bush probably only represented 12% of the population - the wealthiest 12%.
