I'll go with Lancer.

The pick is of tooth decay.

While Tuber was right with Teeth, teeth are also bones like Lancer said. And decay is 'some sorta disease'.

But seriously, with that many holes, i would have thought it was something that transpires (or has hair). Okay the sponge was maybe too far out, but the skin idea made perfect sense to me. But why on earth would teeth have holes like that ? (i assume the little black dots are holes, and that those would also appear on a pic of a healthy tooth)

Bone is porous. With that level of closeup (the cavity is the gap, not the little holes), just about anything would have holes.

Yeah, yeah, i wont dispute that Lancer won, nor am i saying that this pic displayes anything else than a rotten tooth - i am just stating my bedazzlement and i´d like to know more about these holes... (EDIT: what level of close-up is it anyways ?)
