And teh evil Japs in Jurassic Park
Uhhh, what? The only mention of the Japanese in Jurassic Park was that they were the only ones with the patience to invest in Ingen, given its secrecy and the fact it didn't promise a return for many years. Seriously, they got like half a paragraph. They didn't do anything evil, and if they had, you wouldn't know it, because they weren't really in the book.

Uhh, yes. Look it up in the book yourself.
I don't need to, I have the book practically memorized. But just to be sure, I double checked that Dodgson's company was American. It was. There are no Japanese characters (unless Wu is Japanese, but I don't think that's a Japanese surname, but what do I know?) in the book. You are wrong.
I'm actually in the middle of reading Jurassic Park for the first time. I had a nightmare of velociraptors hunting people down in a department store last night.

No, you are a poor reader. It doesn't take much insight to see that the Japanese investors are not portrayed in a positive light.
You are right, they are not portrayed in a positive light. Because they are not portrayed at all. The sum total of references to the Japanese in Jurassic Park:
In the end, they'd had to take mostly Japanese consortia. The Japanese were the only investors who had the patience.
Seriously, that is the only time they are even alluded to.
Either you are thinking of another book, or you are the one who is a poor reader.
