Alot of the pain goes out of boat ownership if you only pay a grand for it.
Oerdin, I think there's a Craigs List for boats. Classifieds are better because they are local boats. Just keep watching the classifieds. Boats might get more expensive when spring comes.Long time member @ Apolyton

) There were only a few fishing boats listed but there was a 20 year old 17' with twin outboards for just $3500. It seems boats lose value faster then even cars. Of course the question is where the hell would I store it as it's to big for my garage and the H.O.A. gets whiny about stuff like this.
You should offer $2000 if you are interested. If they don't take it, somebody will on some boat.
