Joe the Plumber: McCain a "real" American, Obama 'scary.'

Joe Wurzelbacher, aka 'Joe the Plumber' - who got famous after confronting Barack Obama over taxes during a campaign event earlier this month in Toledo - confirmed the worst-kept secret of the presidential race these past two weeks.

He's voting for John McCain. Here's why - McCain is a "real American" and he is "scared" of Obama.

Here's the full quote:

“The bottom line is I am going to vote for a real American; I’m going to vote for John McCain."

As for Obama: "My gut feeling as he answered my questions? I was scared for America.”

And he's not just worried about America, it turns out.

Apparently Joe the (unlicensed) Plumber from Toledo is also a something of a foreign policy expert, too.

Here's a line from the Associated Press story today about his endorsement of McCain:

"When a McCain supporter asked him if he believed 'a vote for Obama is a vote for the death of Israel,' Wurzelbacher replied, 'I'll go ahead and agree with you on that.'

McCain and Wurzelbacher appear together for a rally Wednesday in Florida.

Joe the Plumber isn't even named Joe, he's not a licensed plumber, he will have his taxes cut under Obama, he lied about owning a business, he's a registered Republican, and he lied about that during the debates too. In short Joe the Plumber is wrong about everything.

What does the government do with Social Security tax money? Do they magically transform it into more money to support needy elders? No, they piss it away into a black hole of debt.

Am I supposed to believe that the government is a better steward of my hard earned money than me? Surely not.

I don't doubt that Joe was a repub. plant, but his positions are very much in the American tradition.

Yeah the government is doing a bangup job investing it. $10 trillion federal debt - good job. And on the order of $50-60 trillion when you include social security, medicare, et al.

The Fed's have the "luxury" of borrowing billions from China and Japan. So we get to pay interest on that borrowed money, or we can just have the Fed monetize more debt, or fire up the printing press, inflate the currency, and make us all poorer.

Which part of "The United States is bankrupt." are people not getting?

The government doesn't HAVE any money to give out via Social Security or any other program. They have taken all of your tax money and pissed it into a black of hole of debt.

We gotta pay the piper some day. The dollar will be abandoned as the world's reserve currency, no one will lend us money because have nothing of value, and then we will be in a world of ****.
