The flip side of that is your even more likely to lose your job to a black man now.

My main objection to opponents of affirmative action is that they are under the delusion if affirmative action is eliminated, the only factor in hiring as an employee/accepting as a student will be merit, which is demonstrably false.

That said, and I am prepared to be filleted for this, I think some people need to get some perspective when it comes to accusing the U.S. of being racist. There is clearly racism still present, but we've got a serious black contender for president. But honestly, to me, there is something else that speaks even more to the change in the American attitude towards racism. There is also an ad running in the Memphis, TN Commercial Appeal (the main newspaper) for, I believe, "male enhancement" featuring a black man making love to a white woman. The fact that this ad exists, in the South, no less, speaks volumes about how Americans feel about race relations.
You've just proven signature advertising works!

If the black man is more qualified, sure. That's the market. Or was before it flushed.

Sounds like a good way to sell their product to white men with small peckers.

Well, yeah, and you could argue that it is using the stereotype of black men being well hung, and therefore racist in its own way. But the larger point is that rather than causing increased lynchings, an image of a black man making love to a white woman is causing increased sales. It may or may not be total progress, but it is progress.

Well he is a white man, so...
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Some racism is actually based on a feeling of inferiority, not superiority. It's only expressed as superiority.

I'm not saying the people who created this ad are racist, but they are probably exploiting an inferiority complex of white men with small peckers.

I wasn't disagreeing with you. And I didn't think you thought it was racist. And I would argue that feelings insecurity, which feelings of inferiority are a subset of, are the root of all "isms." Someone who is secure in their superiority (or even secure and at peace with their inferiority) generally doesn't feel the need to spend their time denigrating others.

Interesting. Do you feel that big peckers are more sexually fulfilling? Or is it more on a case-by-case basis?

Also what's the sample base of peckers you've observed and are basing this conclusion on?

That's what women have told me.

                              I don't observe peckers.

If a black man can reach the nation's top office, that's pretty much finished, right? The slavery thing is so far in the past of this country that Americans can vote in a black man.

Slavery may be "far" in the past, but neither it's legacy nor Jim Crow have been overcome. There are still people alive today who personally knew people born into slavery. Furthermore, de jure segregation and second-class citizenship only ended a little over forty years ago. Within two generations, it was legally permissible for whites to kill Blacks. Work was denied and businesses destroyed.

When you're coming up from the very bottom, where you've been artificially held, you ought to have some help up to where you should have been, but even that was fought, from the very beginning.
