Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

A friend of mine supposedly has a mutual friend with the Powells. According to the scuttlebutt, Powell decided not to run for President because his wife was afraid of assassination.

If a black man can reach the nation's top office, that's pretty much finished, right? The slavery thing is so far in the past of this country that Americans can vote in a black man. That's great, it shows we've really matured past hatred. It's like a jew getting elected to the highest office in France or Germany. Certainly these backward countries have not progressed so far.

Anyway, my point is, we can forget about programs that give preference on the basis of race now, right?
I think Obama's election will change the tone of civil rights.

Remember when Jesse Jackson said he wanted to cut Obama's nuts off? It's because Obama wasn't following the "line" which began with the King assassination: Obama wasn't playing the "victim" card. He didn't run as a black man but rather he acts as if his blackness is irrelevant. Jackson saw this tactic was weakening the Blacks's striving for equality. Buit Obama is instead advancing civil rights.

Obama is ushering in a new era where race no longer matters. And that's where we've been trying to get.

Yes, even Zkribbler can get thumbs up on occasion.

Black people have some expectations about Obama that probably won't be fullfilled. I wouldn't go claiming the end of the civil rights movement.

Kid, despite what delusions you may hold, you are not the emperor of black people.

Nobody insinuated any such thing; we were just making fun of what Kid had to say on this thread.
