Boris has provided more than enough verifiable evidence against all your claims.
Your main idiociy is not even being such a hack that even when proven clearly wrong you keep making the same claims - its acting as if the Obama-Ayers relation matters in any way at all.
Unless you can show any evidence that Obama took part in the activities of the Weather Underground, or unless you can show any statements by Obama in which he says that he approves or supports the kind of actions Bill Ayers once took, the fact that he worked with Ayers, met Ayers, or got money from Ayers are all complete non-issues.If you don't like reality, change it! me

No, Boris invented a claim I never made and then proceeded to make a case against it. I never said Obama denied or lied about his relationship with Ayers. He's too shrewd for that. He just downplays the relationship any time it comes up, confident that the media will be too busy focusing on the racist mobs at McCain rallies rather than Obama's political alliance with an unrepentant terrorist.Boris has provided more than enough verifiable evidence against all your claims.
No one with a brain can actually believe this. Forging a connection with a domestic terrorist for political gain is quite obviously an issue.Unless you can show any evidence that Obama took part in the activities of the Weather Underground, or unless you can show any statements by Obama in which he says that he approves or supports the kind of actions Bill Ayers once took, the fact that he worked with Ayers, met Ayers, or got money from Ayers are all complete non-issues.

Read what Stephanopolous asked again. He notes that Obama's own campaign had previously stated they were friendly. They've never attempted to hide the fact.Originally posted by Naked Gents Rut
So not contradicting your political opponent or reporters when they bring up details that you conveniently left out is "coming clean" now? Do you understand you ridiculous this argument is?
Obama's own website states the Ayers relationships, as I linked. How is it "not coming clean" when his own site states them?
Again, youre saying that by Obama adding more information than what Stephanopolous stated while not denying what he said, he's somehow hiding something. Patently ludicrous.
Whether it was in or not in quotation marks, what you said is demonstrably a lie, because Obama has never, ever claimed that he and Ayers were "just" neighbors. The fact that you can't bring youself to acknowledge this basic, huge, gaping whole in your "argument" is very telling.Your attack against me rests on whether or not I put "just" inside the quotation marks? Wow, you're building a overwhelming case against me here.
Your claim of "most important" is the problem, not the information provided by CNN (and where did you link to it? I can't find such a link in this thread). Ayers hosted one meet-and-greet for Obama for his very first political campaign, and donated $200 to his U.S. Senate run. And the meet-and-greet wasn't even Obama's doing, it was organized by Alice Palmer, the state senator whom he was running to replace. That's it in terms of their political interaction. Now, if you honestly think that makes Ayers one of the "most important" people in his political life, you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. By that measure, I've been one of the "most important" players in the political campaigns of a congressman and a couple of judges. That's simply untrue. I even linked to a CNN piece detailing their political relationship in this very thread. I'm sure you'll claim that CNN was just regurgitating "GOP spin", however.
Says the man using regurgitated GOP spin.Christ, don't you guys have any different moves? You're good enough at pounding on your talking points, but lack the spark of intelligence needed to really take it to someone. It's like amateur hour over here these days.

The media has had stories about Ayers for months. Months! There was even a question at the ABC debate against Hillary. It's old news. Its only still out there because the McCain campaign is so desperate they're grabbing at strongmen. The mob's recent attitude is a new thing.
You've even said Ayers is a moot point. Why are you still so strongly defending its use? McCain is certainly not making anyone feel better about how he will handle the economy - is this all you guys have left?"I predict your ignore will rival Ben's" - Ecofarm

Given how little traction this non-issue has with anyone but the mouth-breathers, bigots, imbeciles, jackasses, yourself and DD, your statement is demostrably false.Originally posted by Naked Gents Rut

No, you falsely claimed that Obama said he and Ayers were "just" neighbors, and you've falsely stated that Obama hasn't "come clean" about their relationship, when his own campaign website says otherwise.Originally posted by Naked Gents Rut

You've utterly failed to show there was a relationship worth worrying about at all, at any rate.
It hasn't been an issue for any Republicans or Democrats in Illinois until now, because Ayers has been a commonly accepted figure there in education reform for years. He was even honored in 1997 for his work. Nobody has been complaining about Ayers, not until they decided they wanted to tar and feather Obama because he dared to have coffee at the guy's house once.No one with a brain can actually believe this. You really are delusional. You just got done saying that the event at Ayer's house where Alice Palmer named Obama as her successor was the only political link between Ayers and Obama. The CNN report explicitly argues against that.
