Supposedly all of his staff but one or two people were completely surprised by his pick of Palin. They went to bed thinking it was going to be some one else then woke up and found out Palin was the new pick. It honestly seems like a snap decision to try to pick up disaffected Hillary voters and shore up the religious right. Oh that level Palin was a good pick but on a functional level she's looking like another Dan Quayle.

Yeah, when I first heard it, I thought it was a good decision. Unfortuanately the glimmer is off this one. I'll let the debate be the determining factor on this one. I still find it hard to believe that anyone could be as bad as she's shown so far.

She's prolly going to end up winning just by suddenly being able to speak cohearently given how low the expectations are for her now. I'm hoping she hold the moderators book up and asks for an autograph.

Yeah, cause its not like there was an AP article or anything back in July, way before even the conventions, detailing she was writing that book. Oh wait...

And its not like the McCain campaign could have just googled her name to find out things about a moderator that WAS AGREED UPON.
