    Bush doesn't read newspapers either

    Her answer is totally legit. She doesn't name a specific paper, but says vast variety, so she doesn't only read one, or focus on one.

                If you ask me "what papers shape my worldview," I don't know what to tell you. I read mein kampf and it taught me stuff, but that's no newspaper. I read the federalist papers in seventh grade and I found them boring but I was attracted to John Adams' views. More recently I use google news. Sue me?

                          Giamatti rules. The "John Adams" miniseries on HBO was ****ing amazine. When I get through the books I'm reading now, I'm gonna pick up that one. Probably the DVDs too.

                                You know, after the last several years, where the GOP has demonstrated over and over and over and over again how much better they are at campaigns than the Dems, I'm half-expecting these Palin interviews to be some sort of hustle. Sort of like the guy at the pool hall who loses a few $5 games to you, but once you raise the stakes to $50, he runs rack after rack.
