Honestly, being "unskilled" makes finding a job in the current economy a pain in the ****ing ass. I've had 2 interviews in the past month, I've been pushing for the past 3 months for work. I've applied to everywhere within walking distance and everywhere on the bus route. Nothing. I can't even get a job cleaning up someone else's ****. If it weren't for my extremely supportive family I would be out on the street beating people and pushing meth. I've been reconsidering the military to be honest, it's way ****ing out of character for me though, I'm a *****. I'm a thinker, contrary to what you all may think/perceive.

I'm going to start "donating" plasma and saving half of it to pay for school, if I were a chick/hot gay man I would go strip. The community college is pretty cheap, I know I can live off of rice, milk, and a multivitamin. Life's a *****, thank god for fermentation and whatever starving caveman discovered it.

Join the Air Force. It's got the highest degree of difficulty for "brain tests".

EDIT: To add, I bought a bottle of Robert Mondavi 2004 Merlot tonight. Haven't messed with it. I'll see about it sometime. Not a big wine drinker.

Can't, army is all I can do, I have G.E.D. (General Ediot Degree), I dropped out the beginning of mt 11th grade year thanks to depression. I was still in Barrow, Alaska, very little sun light, population of 5,000 at the time. I should have pushed through and gone an extra year but my mom always stressed doing what felt "right" for better or worse. "Right" for me was getting the **** out of public education, too bad I still haven't gone any further. I like to think I'm smart, which I'm 100% positive I am, but I think too much about this and that and that other thing and omfg shiny object bewbs what? I would be fine working as a janitor for the rest of my life to be honest, I have the attention span of half a gnat.

And now, thanks to my previous Army experience, I probably have a reliability degree of nothing. Infantry and MP is probably the only thing I can qualify for. I'm smart, sure, but I'm "crazy".

I also hate my previous drill sergeants and first sergeant, ****ers could have gotten me into anything other than infantry and I would have jumped on it but nooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Idiots, I have nothing but respect for their actions, their brains could be replaced by Civ I AI.

You could check out some other methods of making some money. It probably won't be a lot, but there are ways to make ~5/hr online without really having anything approaching a "job" or requiring "skill".

For instance, in about an hour of playing word games at club.live.com you can earn 1000 tickets. (That's legitimately. You can earn far more with multiple accounts running bots... but also risk having your accounts flagged and not getting anything.)

1000 tickets will get you $10 towards your favorite charity. Or about $5-$10 towards the sale of one of the other prizes. (MS Office 2007 can go for $200-$250 on Ebay, and was 25k tickets last time it was on there.)

Of course there are drawbacks... such as it's quite boring unless you really like the sort of games there, and carpal tunnel even if you do. But it's probably more financially rewarding than drinking booze, so the bar isn't set very high...

No, in my case, at this very moment, no it is not. Like I said, thankfully for my family you don't see me on the FBI's top 10 most wanted.

These are hard times, and likely will get harder. From mental standpoint, when it's over, it's one of those things that will make you stronger. Silver spoons don't.

Hell, even if you're skilled you don't really want to look for a job right now. I'm just glad I'm employed.

I fully appreciate what is going on. My family (mom and oldest sister, occasional help from dad) is strained helping feed me and paying for this cheap ass ghetto house. I can see that the economy most likely won't improve at least for the next decade or two. I am cheap now and for the rest of my life, I don't care if I'm a millionaire. I would sooner wear a pair of 2 year old holey wrangler jeans and eat rice than think that I deserved new clothes while my neighbors struggle to clothe their 5 year old kids.

If it makes you feel any better, my job offer to teach high school was rescinded after the district administration made an incredibly stupid accounting error. 625 teachers are to be cut because some idiot forgot to factor in the pay for all new staff hirings. Without cutting these jobs the district would have an eighty-something million dollar budget deficit.

                              NICE!

What do you want to bet the wanker who caused the error won't be the one to get fired?
