For the record Fiorina was asked if Palin had the experience to run a large corporation such as HP. She said no, and then later qualified that by saying that neither do McCain, Obama, or Biden, and that none of them were running for the job of corporate CEO.

Ironically, she wasn't qualified either.

She was a wildly successful exec up to her tenure at HP, known for basically breaking the glass ceiling over and over again.
And if she wasn't qualified/able to run HP, certainly none of the candidates for President/VP are.
I mean, seriously, what moron asks if a politician is qualified to run a major corporation, and thinks that a negative answer has any bearing on their qualifications to be President? Only the media, I guess
At least they didn't select a junior senator with almost no experience to head up their ticket
12 years in some sort of government is "almost no experience"? WTF?
I guess you wouldn't have voted for Abe Lincoln either (a mere 8 years in the Illinois Legislatute, a one term Congressman), but then he clearly wasn't ready to lead either.....

Compared to his opponent, he's just a babe in the woods
But you are missing my point... The Dems are going after Palin for her "lack" of experience, yet defending Obama's lack of experience just like you are. You can't have it both ways. Either they are both qualified or neither is

"Experience" as measured in lenght of government service, even in an "executive capacity" isn't even remotely the only or even best signifier of one's ability to lead. George W. Bush is a great example of that, as is Pres. Buchanan, who going in had far more experience than the man that followed him, but the man that followed him has monuments to his memory in Washington while Buchanan is consistently rated at the bottom of our Presidents.
Obama got to where he got after a year long camapign and battle - Palin got plucked out of nowhere. Do you for a second believe that if Palin had thrown in her hat to be President in the Republican contests that she would have made it even to Super Tuesday?
Of course, many of the people ready to put Palin a heartbeat away from the Presidency gave George W. Bush a term in office and extended it. I think that is a better indictment on their judgement than any I can make.

Being able to survive a campaign doesn't mean the person automatically is qualified to be president.
And no, I don't think for a second that Palin is qualified to be the president of the US. But I question whether Obama has the needed experience. He hasn't even proved he can be a good senator, let alone president.
I wish he had waited another 4 years or more before running.

Again, depends on where you're coming from. I imagine there are plenty of people who think hunting down an innocent woman is tame compared to screaming "God Damn America." I'm not one of them, but you have to consider perspective.
In both cases it's guilt-by-association and therefore tenuous as a sign of the candidate's character. This website is testimony to human beings' ability to hang out with people who say some crazy ****e they don't agree with. I only find it interesting insofar as it's yet another Obama weakness that McCain has adopted via his veep.

Thinking negatively about America is a perspective. Thinking people are witches is bat**** insane.

Yeah, I read about this. It's kind of scary that he publicly accused some poor woman of being a witch and then had his followers hound her out of town. One of them even broke into her house armed with a gun and shot her pet snake. :\
Really? Shouldn't they all go to jail or something? For threats, harassing, trespassing, animal cruelty and God knows what more?
I am torned between sympathy for this snake and the feelings originating in the fact that snakes eat frogs.
