The Guitar Thread

I am just now taking up guitar. Got an acoustic junker from a cousin who was not using it.

So I went out and bought a couple sets of 11 guage strings. Stringed and tuned it up, and have been practicing daily.

I am an organist and pianist by trade, so theory is not a problem. But I can't wait to get an electric with a distortation/effects box

I've been playing for about 35 years now. With a few 5+ year sabbaticals in the middle. I have 3 guitars: Acoustic 6 string, Acoustic 12 string and a very sweet Gibson Epiphone. I also have a ukelele, about 6 different mouth harps and used to have a keyboard.
