I'm not really "afraid" McCain will win. I think he (or Obama) will be a far better president than Bush, so at least it's a move up. There's even some hope McCain will go back to his old self (even if only after he gets elected for a second term) and actually be a rather good president.

In this election cycle he has shown himself to have no dignity and to be a serial liar. It has also made me question his competance on some serious issues which he seems to know nothing about, serious ignorance about economic issues..... how can he possibly have not known the difference between the 2 muslim sects?

I *liked* him in the past. If you asked me about him 8 years ago, I would of liked to see him run for the Republicans.

        Wiggy, what about
THE FACTS: Obama acknowledges that over nearly eight years in the Illinois Senate, he voted "present" 129 times.
Probably on the tough calls; not "should lawns be kept under one foot in height?"

If you're going to quote some source, quote all of it.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill.—Barack Obama's rivals in the Democratic presidential race contend he sometimes voted "present" on tough issues rather than take a firm stand."

        So kiss my ass.

Why don't you hold Obama to that standard? He certainly isn't immune to slips of the tongue.

What are you talking about? You said a "majority" and were completely wrong. And you also didn't read the explanation for the present votes that the article offered. This isn't defending Obama, this is basic math skills (1/31 is not a majority). Perhaps your Uncle Kracker CD broke and keeps repeating that ILL SWIM THROUGH YOUR VAINS LIKE A FISH IN THE SEA line, but this is no reason to take it out on me.

It's his own party that was saying it. Not McCain. Don't blame me. As for you percentages, I cited the probable reason.

                His rivals said THAT!?

Which is why a rational person would assume he misspoke rather than doesn't know the difference.

The only thing that scares me more is that he might die in office .

Oh god, a woman president. Can you just imagine that? As soon as she's on her period, we reach Defcon 1 and you know that somebody is going to die. Women shouldn't even have the right to vote since their are emotional and prone to *****iness.

We made it through Reagan and Bush. McCain and Obama are nothing compared to them, but I'm very afraid of Palin.

My problem with McCain is that he has shown himself to just be a puppet to the same spectors that oversaw George Bush's presidency.
