That reminds me of a Top Gear show I watched where a load of mentalists decided to weld up all the holes they could find in a Mini Cooper, and then row it across the Irish Sea from Ireland to England.

They got about 200 yards and then the Mini Cooper sank and they had to swim back to shore.

Then they revamped their design and found a load more holes they'd forgotten about. They sealed all those up as well and tried again, rowing it across the channel.

But that sank too.

"And that was the end of it," said one of the organizers.
