  • New Microsoft commercial, featuring Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates

Not sure what to think of this.

    It's stupid.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

But I have no idea what it means.

Summary: Microsoft sucks so they have to make a stupid commercial with Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld.

          You gotta "get" Seinfeld.
I am on a mission to see how much coffee it takes to actually achieve time travel.

But shouldn't the stupid commercial make at least some sense?

It's a commercial about nothing. Am I the only one who understands the reference and its attempt? It's a blatant attempt to transitively apply the goodwill of the public towards Seinfeld to Microsoft.

It's apparently the first of many to come, and it exists to set up the tone for the remainder and introduce a series.

Considering all of the publicity it's gotten, and the fact that so many people have intentionally seeked this out and watched it outside of just seeing it on TV, I find it funny people can consider it a failure...

I think the self-depreciating tone is quite refreshing compared to a certain firm's narcissism.
