When I was a math tutor, I found lots of people who didn't have common sence enough not to build a sports complex in a tiny town, and other crazy ideas, that may be the cost of a poor education. We need to get better schools.

Those who want to expose Baraccuda Sarah, if you're in a swing state, I've found putting up fliers on telephone poles an effective, cheap way to inform people, especially those who don't read newspapers, and its a useful way of getting a message across.

GOP senator: A 'stretch' to say Palin is qualified

WASHINGTON - Nebraska Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel said his party's vice presidential nominee, Sarah Palin, lacks foreign policy experience and called it a "stretch" to say she's qualified to be president.

"She doesn't have any foreign policy credentials," Hagel said in an interview published Thursday by the Omaha World-Herald. "You get a passport for the first time in your life last year? I mean, I don't know what you can say. You can't say anything."

Could Palin lead the country if GOP presidential nominee John McCain could not?

"I think it's a stretch to, in any way, to say that she's got the experience to be president of the United States," Hagel said.

McCain and other Republicans have defended Palin's qualifications, citing Alaska's proximity to Russia. Palin told ABC News, "They're our next-door neighbors and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska."

Hagel took issue with that argument. "I think they ought to be just honest about it and stop the nonsense about, 'I look out my window and I see Russia and so therefore I know something about Russia,'" he said. "That kind of thing is insulting to the American people."

Also, the Palin threads are dying out. It must be a concerted effort by Obama supporters.

Few things that aren't consistent IMO.

First off, Palin is a JOKE and it's a political move to get Christian right and women votes, make no mistake about it. It has absolutely nothing to do with her being so good and professional. That been said, I don't care about that so much. Choose who you want, that's your right, and it's not like there's a single superstar out there in the world.

Now, it got me thinking, she was made out to look like this villain, almost like a sociopath, a shark of a sort. Now, in order for she to intimidate all the people of Alaska if you get on her bad side, and she only has some experience with city council and knows nothing... it doesn't match. If she is below average, which I believe she is, she can't possibly hurt many people or organizations. Yeah, you can fire some cop for personal reasons, but it's not like that seems powerful or having this huge hammer. It sounds more childish than anything. IF those stories are true, she isn't a shark, sharks are smart. She is a childish person, a real cry baby with too much power. But not a shark.

People shouldn't be afraid of cry babies, only sharks. And even then, not everyone is scared of sharks, especially people with intelligence who can see the game, or people in other powerful positions, or pissed off people, or whoever, there's lots of people who aren't scared of middle aged cry baby soccer moms.

She never had the capacity to hold a grudge for hundreds of people, I mean she couldn't even remember the **** list if it was that long, and actually act on it. And no, I don't think she was so smart as to gather herself around with incompetent people so they love her and basically pave her road, she could never accomplish that move on her own. Most likely she is just so incompetent as to actually do it and think it was a smart move, or to surround herself with people she knows, or making favours hiring friends friends or whatever. No way could she be so good as to pull of the claim IMO. She isn't a shark, she's a cry baby.

It's just that when you see what happens, then if you look it from the POV of her being like this planning evil genius, then it looks like that for sure. How about incompetent? Seems more plausable to me. Those kinds of moves are EXACTLY what I'd expect from a soccer mom, no offense. And there's absolutely no genius involved in it.
