Well, the bone of contention is that he says he's never linked to partisan websites. While I added that he has used them to claim "facts" in the past, doesn't mean that he's used everyone to do so. You're just being nitpicky because I embarrassed you awhile back.

As for the last couple quotes, he seems to be linking to a partisan website which reports on what others have said. Now, granted he may believe what those others have said are facts (or more indicative of fact than other sources), but I think that's a leap to saying he's linking to partisan websites claiming them as fact.
Come on. He claimed them as fact.

    Furthermore:

Fine school. Not great, but not bad either. I guess people would recognize the name New York.

You are talking about one of the most respected schools in the US, you realize, right? Especially in certain fields.

Though perhaps your definition of "great" is ridiculously small?
It's got a good film school, I'll give it that. But really, it doesn't hold a candle to Columbia and Cornell. And outside of the US, it's. . .well. . .it's another American school. But you're trying to make it sound like I'm trashing the school. I'm not. It's a well respected school.

This makes it clear you aren't worth talking to. Good job, saved some people the time

This may take a while, I'm scrolling through the top 100 universities in the US until I find NYU. Maybe I shouldn't have started from the top.

Cornell? Just have your dad donate a building and you can get in off the waitlist there.

Ah, here we go. A respectable 33, just above Boston College and just below William and Mary.

Is there a school where you can't do that?

I have to say it's pretty amusing that the dude was bragging about going to NYU over the internets.

You are a legend in your own mind.

It is nice to see you running away from your fact claims. I don't see him claiming he never linked to partisan websites in this thread either... just that Factcheck isn't one.

Come on. He claimed them as fact.

All they were doing was reporting what others have said though. It wasn't like he was referencing some work done by the Corner or commentary and claiming that as fact.

That's a very different thing. I find no reason to disclaim left leaning blogs who are reporting what others said or linking to other stories.

It was only 30th in the Shanghai Jiao Tong ranking of the World's Best Universities (2007). I'd think being even in the Top 100 Universities in the world qualify as "great".

Uh, Cornell especially isn't that great a school.

More specifically, I attend the undergraduate program at the Stern School of Business.

It would be more fun without a bunch of early twenty year olds acting as if they had never been in a big city before (which is probably the case for a lot of them, but still).

They clog up all of Bleeker Street

And they go to places like the Peculiar Pub to have Bud Light!
