  • Will Georgia turn into a Moscow satellite?

As Abkhazia starts a Moscow baked war on Georgia, what will happen?
    After all, Abkhazia is Georgia!
Will Abkhazia (Russia proxy) tople the Tiblisi rulers and intall pro-Moscow ones?
    Its all Georgia internal affairs...
    No Un is needed.

    Is this a Kosovo revenge?

well if that happens certain undergarments here will be very wet. But I don't think so. Saak is genuinely liked by over 50% of population, his rule has in general brought an end to rampant corruption, has facilitated extreme rates of economic growth and substantial foreign investment, so he should be able to retain power - but not in the way Russian nationalists understand it. The ideas he stands for are those of the majority of Georgians, without having to resort on brainwashing or propaganda, as in Russia.

The Abkazh and S. Ossetian seperatists might decide (with Moscow's full backing) to make a move to declare independence, something only Moscow would recognize, but making a political solution for Georgia even more difficult.

Saakashvili will remain in power, but weakened because of the costly miscalculation behind the attempt to secure S. Ossetia militarily.

I think the wheels are already in motion.
Moscow will control more, namely oil production and flux.

I wouldnt be surprised if in the end some kind of EU-NATO force will have to be deploied as peace keepers, if not to late already.

        Today (Sunday-10):
Tiblisi airport bombed by russian planes.
Georgia coastline blocked by russian ships.
Abkazia to declare state of war with Georgia.
        The wheels are turning fast!

Well, usually peacekeeping forces do nothing to enforce the peace and simply sadly shake their blue-helmeted heads looking at the carnage.

I believe they were a kind of UN-approved only, but not UN-sent.

                            Anyone knows for sure?
