I'm a bit puzzled why you saw fit to comment on it specifically.

Maybe I hate tattoos and think that people are generally stupid if they have them all over their body?

By the way, you're the one who posts all these articles. It's your infatuation. The rest of us just comment on them. Or are you posting them because you don't want to see any comments? Or just the comments you agree with? If so, perhaps you should include some kind of disclaimer next time..

The thing is the vast majority of people aren't horrible. Problem is those who are tend to be more visible and/or memorable. It does seem to be true though that there are one hell of a lot of deeply disturbed people out there.

Not everyone has the same coverage of this as we have in Canada. I welcome comments, just not ridiculously stupid comments with no bearing on the situation except for perhaps implying that his tattoos played a role in this...

Well they played a role, rather prominently, among the things his friends remembered him for, according to the journalist.

Which I pointed to as being fairly strange.

I found it irrelevant, slightly annoying, a bit pathetic really. Very Canadian.

Did I offend you? I thought you'd be able to take that, since you deal it out yourself, plenty.

                    Just from this thread,

Think about it. You jab at people's nationality all the time, trying to be funny. If you stop, maybe some of us will do the same. Just out of the goodness of our hearts.

Not that I have a problem with these little side comments. But it seems that you do. Then start by calling them off yourself.

I'd have no problem if you insulted me. I wish you had the balls to try it. To talk about the dead in such a way to imply a lack of humanity or character is just disgusting to me. Sorry.

I encourage you to try to make fun of Canadians, playing to Canadian stereotypes or perceived stereotypes based on posters on this site.

But your comment was not an over the top stereotype nor a swipe at a poster here, it was an off-colour comment about a dead victim with obvious implications.

Trust a Dane not to figure out the difference.

                        • Unless anyone here is in some way personally connected to the victim, I think insulting him is significantly less harmful than insulting something or someone connected to Apolyton. He's dead; we can't hurt his feelings.
