Of course, but you know the law...

On this side of the border, it's not illegal unless they can prove you knew he didn't do it... and even on your side, it's legal as long as it's true.

It makes sense to me to claim anyone is a suspect until they're proven to be guilty of a crime.

Proven to be guilty != convicted in court.

Suspect is an entirely accurate term. The fact that they have concrete proof of his guilt does not make him not also a suspect.

I didn't say it was inaccurate.

                Code:
                City Murder Rate
                Winnipeg 3.6
                Saskatoon 3.6

                Sudbury 2.5
                Regina 2.5
                Vancouver 2.4
                Toronto 2.0
                Saint John 2.0
                Montreal 1.6
                Hamilton 1.6
                Ottawa 1.6
                Thunder Bay 1.6
                Halifax 1.8
BTW Asher, you're quite safe. Despite this knife crime epidemic, London is only 2.1 murders per 100k...although some of the American ones are staggering. I was surprised to see that Amsterdam supposed has more than triple that!

But that was a horrible murder, absolutely horrible...sometimes I wonder if the death penalty is such a bad thing. At least it saves on a lot of tax and prison overcrowding...

American ones are staggering because once you give every loony an assault rifle they can kill dozens instead of just one person. Shockingly this concept is lost on most Americans from the South.

Scratch "The Highlander". The best name I have seen so far is "The Manitoba Denogginizer".

                    Man I hope that sticks.

And how nice tattoos they've got.

I was a bit puzzled to see the extensive mention they gave to that. I suppose he must've really impressed his friends with them.

Montreal: 1.6 This is very low considering the fact that Mtl is the second city in Canada. (around 3mil people)

Trois-Rivières: Some small city like Trois-Rivière must have their stats higher than reality, since if one year, a guy killed his wife and children, just that incident could triple the number of homicide by year.

Here in Quebec City (around 500 000 habs) we had two homicide this year, but we didn't anyone one last year.

dunno; maybe lots of criminal biker... ? At the same time, a better stats would be the means from the last five year.

It gets weirder: apparently he engaged in cannibalism.

This is according to RCMP offers who witnessed it, and their radio transmissions were leaked:
