Scoot it into a cup and then take it outside and fling it away. IF you're worried about it climbing up the sides then shake the cup constantly so it can't grip the walls. Works every time for me.

How big is that sucker -- looks tarantula scale in the pic. I'm not sure I'd squish it, you'd end up with spider-gut abstract art on your wall.

'Bout two nights ago I killed like a dozen spiders in the hallway here. It was like that episode of South Park "Cat Orgy" but with spiders and without everything else, just spiders. There was much drowning and being flushed away in toilets that night...

How big is that sucker -- looks tarantula scale in the pic.

It's about the size of a dime. I zoomed in as far as I could to get as detailed a picture as possible, wanted to figure out what kind of spider it is. I found another spider last week that was the size of a small mammal. It was hiding under my safe and zipped out when I was moving it. Scared the bejesus out of me, I took a few quick pictures and stomped it before it could hide anywhere. Didn't want my cat to find it and make the mistake of playing with it. I regret having not taken a picture of the aftermath, a big goopy pile of spider limbs and peanut butter.




Haven't looked it up yet to see what it is.

No and no. It ran off and hid somewhere while I was posting this thread.

The only exceptions was once I was remodeling a house with a buddy and we ripping off some facia on an older home and about a 100 brown recluses came pouring out of the newly exposed area. I almost jumped/fell off the scafolding.
