Step-Brother = Both siblings do not share a common Mother and Father.
Half-Brother = Both siblings share a common Mother or Father.

Update
Well, on Friday night, my mother and her son, Steve, met for the first time in person at our mother's home. She showed him the family pictures, and they chatted the time away. My mother said the get-together went well.
Now, us siblings plan to get together with our "new" brother next Thursday (July 31) with our mother, so us kids can meet him for the first time. My mother already mentioned to Steve that I'm gay when she talked about me. She said he had no strong reaction, either way.A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.Comment
