Also degenerating spinal disks...but everyone gets those to a greater or lesser degree.

I've never been as fit as at the moment. Resting heart rate of 50, regularly run 10km or more (in less than 50 mins) and lost over a third of my body weight since this time last year and still going.

I am hoping to avoid the fate that has befallen too many people so I am going to keep working at it and I vow never to fall victim to obesity again. Although I still eat like a bastard though but I make sure I burn it off!

I ate huge amounts of food in Cancun, but because I was swimming and walking all the time and used the gym, I actually lost weight!!!

Yeah, it is strange to think that you lot have, in effect, 50 pence notes

Depends. I don't have ailments when applying for insurance or payment protections, but I'm sure I will discover major congenital diseases in my family history, take up smoking, quit exercising and start eating like Provost Harrison when it comes nearly time to apply for my pension annuity.

I have asthma, and dust allergy.

I don't sleep enough at all and I've been experiencing a weaker health system as a result.

I can't seem to put on weight.

My digestive system is either really blocked, or really ... active. Lots of foods make my stomach hurt.

You didn't use a cab to get around?

No, I'd just end up falling out of them

i have a large inguinal hernia and a decaying molar.

also a titanium plate in my spine from herniated disks in my lumbar.

but i hate doctors so they will probably never get fixed even though i have insurance.

I picked up some wierd tropical illness not long after I came to PNG.

Suffered crippling headaches, dizziness, general tiredness and occassionally collapsing/blacking out.

                            Was very scary.

The meds would make it go away for a while, then it would come back.

I tried some local natural medicine (some hideous tea type stuff) and that seems to have done the trick.

I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

Wow, this is a depressing thread.

I currently have a headache (thanks, stupid job ). Right now that's about all I can think about.

When my headache is gone, maybe I will think of something else to make me miserable

Yeah, I am at the mercy of jetlag, hence I am still up at this ungodly hour. I didn't wake up until near 15:00 either...
