A while ago I made a ZOMG LOOK AT ME thread asking for information about my upcoming journey to Mother Russia (PRAISE LENIN). Recently I was able to find a dirt cheap flight to Riga (dirt cheap means spending 80 euros instead of 330 for going straight to the Soviet heart), and I just noticed that the Baltic states aren't awful.
Au contraire, the whole place looks awesome.
So I told myself hey, let's visit those Baltic states, maybe the people don't smell of rotten lutefisk and eat salmon for breakfast as the crazy Norwegians. Then woop, I booked an entire week to be shared in Riga and Tallinn (no time for Vilnius though
). And when it will be over, I'll hop a bus for St. Petersburg and explore Rossiya as well.
But wait, OLOL, there's a ferry connecting Tallin to Helsinki! I can make a day trip. Well, I could. But here's why I'm worried.
Pekka is Finnish, I suppose. According to the internet, Finland is a rich, green and happy country. But Pekka instead spends most of his Poly time talking about his own life and his fights with the local thugs. Other users (whose names are too Finnish for me to remember, something like Krrkh Prkkkla, and üüüü) are always online, rather than spending their time running naked through the woods and praising Mother Earth.
Is Finland such a boring and uninteresting place? Do I really have to spend money for visiting a place called Helsinki? Just for one day? Give me advice please.
p.s. are there tall, blonde homosexuals in Finland?
