You are unaware of the relationship between the Bill of Rights and the Constitution? The Bill of Rights are mere amendments to the Constitution, so to claim it has nothing to do with the constitution is just wrong. I can give you further lectures on US government and history if you would like.

Further, I AGREE with the supreme court ruling. I do not own a gun, I never intend to buy a gun but I am GLAD that there are more guns per person in America then any country in the world.
Handguns rifles and a handful of assault rifles are not going to stop heavy military equipment. However any would be tyrant would need popular support in the begining and would be unwilling to bomb civilian populations.
