Enough with these games of yours Ogie. Neither of us are morons, so get to your point.

Games? I merely am trying to understand the forum dynamics having been gone so long.

Gone long enough to call me a long time advocate of Oerdin? Your statements don't make sense, but that's what I've been saying all along. Please be clear if you're going to make claims about other people.

Damn it, Ogie! A simple search shows that you're lying to me. Do you really have nothing better to do than make a fool of yourself?

Is there something wrong with advocacy or do you completely dismiss all things Oerdin-like (whatever that might be)?

Lying. You wound me to the quick. What lying do you attribute me?

Enough with the bull****. You're not so stupid to know that Oerdin has a negative reputation here among some people and those people use his name as an insult. And you can't claim that you've been away for so long to not notice this for the following reasons:

                1. I've only advocated Oerdin's position in one thread (hence my problem with the misleading "long term" statement. And that wasn't necessarily to defend him, but the rights of posters in general. In order to make that statement, you would have had to have read that thread. If not, then you were completely lying in calling me a long-term advocate of Oerdin (rather than partially lying while being incorrect). That thread alone demonstrates Oerdin's reputation among other posters here.

                2. A search in your profile of all your posts shows that you have been posting here regularly for some time. So it is a lie that you've been gone for "so long."

Hence, you are simply playing a game. Although so was I. As I said, your first post was so obvious that it didn't need explaining. However, I was curious how far you would go. Knowing that it would end in your humiliation, I gave you an easy out to start. Hence the . In fact, I suspected that you were intelligent enough to see it. However, you did not and continued on your way stumbling and bumbling through this thread. The outright lie marked the end of it. That you needed it, cost you the game. Or you really are as clueless as you are acting.

Seriously, I'm growing tired of the childishness that passes for intelligent conversation here. So many people playing fools in order to make a silly point that wrong anyway. Have you no other way of talking to eachother?

I am now completely mortified and stricken that so prolific a poster as the great Dashi would aggrieve my character so.

Point of the matter is I was actually interested in the dynamics. While away for 10 monthes or so and posting of late over the past few monthes I was rather interested int he transitions of poly. Can't say as I like them much at all. If anything the rancor has been notched up. Good decent folk are constantly being derided.

As for humiliation, the fact that you understand (even on a subconscious level) how little stock people put in the likes of political hackery and the comparison you drew and likely will continue to at the rate you are progressing should be enough sour milk for your dining displeasure.

I don't take being treated so disingenuously well. Then again, if you act the fool, don't be surprised to be treated like one.

Nothing has changed here. Oerdin has been harrassed as such for years. You've been posting prolifically yourself for the past 3 months. And since you are aware of Oerdin's problem, there's no reason to believe that you were seeking transition information with your post here. Calling people "Oerdin" as an insult by his enemies has been quite common.

Again, more assumptions about me. But what about political hackery? This is new to our discussion. Where does this come from?

I presumed it the crux of the matter. The point of course from my old timey experince being that the principle complaint 'gainst O. Is there something else or different that would make the Oerdin insinuation so terrible an insult?

For years? Actually not so much he had his detractors and his hissy fits against those that detracted against him but likewise a rather large/substantial base of supporters. Today I see just Pat fighting against him on a regular basis with most other people simply dismissing him. But I don't know the in between history so much. So my questions were indeed genuine if couched in feigned ignorance.

Ouch, you couldn't have been more wrong. Actually, the insult is used here meaninglessly. If you noticed, I only mentioned it to prove the point that some people are incapable of having a rational discussion on certain issues. I didn't really care what the insult was, just that it supported my point.

You were the one who made a big deal about it. And, if I would make an assumption myself, was because you noticed it was being used meaninglessly as well.

But none of this matters as you've proved yourself to be a blatant liar. You've been posting regularly for over 3 months, so you can't claim to have been gone so long to not understand the forum dynamics on this issue. And calling me a long-term advocate is just fantasy that you made up. It's sad that you need to behave this way. It's also disrespectful. And until you did, I tried to have a fair discourse with you. You just wouldnt' have it.

This can't be true, if you were to call me Oerdin's advocate. As is said, "Were you lying then, or are you lying now?"

Obviously not so in that you initially took offense to it.

                                So again why the offense?
