This emoiton of nurturing is embedded in women, it has been perpetuated on women from the stories of Adam and Eve, the apple, the snake and the tree. It is the attempt to correct the wrong, to puke out the apple, to turn back time, to apologize the man.

It is not the act itself, to turn evil back to good, it is the desire to wash away the sin of the woman, the inner satisfaction, the necessity of the woman to feel pure and not the whore, the dirty, the weak-minded and the guilty one. But the truth is, in every mother, there lives a whore inside. It is the duality of the woman. As is the duality of man: the provider and the murderer and the rapist. The maker of whores.

This is not to be misinterpreted as misogynist ideas, this is the manifestations of the whore inside of the woman, to set herself free by slaying the beast that is inside this Austrian man. The desire to be the knight, the dragon slayer, the hero and the King. But God gave the penis to a man for a reason.

As for the shallow neighbours thing - it's not as simple as that. Sure, the neighbours were shallow. But in a tiny village, where every single thing in your life depends on what is your standing in the immediate community, being ostracised for your daughter's actions is tough, and is a huge deal. It doesn't justify murder, of course, but it's not what you make it out to be, either.

In fact, the whole thins is pretty tragic. Prejudiced neighbours, stupid daughter, stupid parents.

Because you didn't provide an analysis of why it is perfectly understandable... you just rehashed the fact of misogyny where the man thinks the woman is property. Human are not naturally like that as evidenced by how far Western Civilization has come.

I mean, really, by that status, one can say that slavery is perfectly understandable "given how humans are", when it has nothing to do with how humans are, but everything to do with certain humans wanting to control everything.

Furthermore, I'm at a loss as to how you think this can be understandable, but can't see how women wanting to "fix" a horrible man isn't? Isn't the social stereotype that women are drawn to broken men because they want to nuture and care for him and are drawn to him as a result of their maternal instinct?
