Stereotypical jokes aren't funny the vast majority of the time. That's because they rely on stereotypes, which are by definition "old". It takes a really good comedian to be able to deliver an "old" joke in a funny way. Even then they have to constantly change it up or even that delivery just gets "old".

I have been on everything from Fentanol Patches, to Meperdine (Demerol and Phergan mix), morphine, straight demerol, Tramadol doesnt do much at all for me, been on Percocet, Darvocet, not much helped.

This wrist fusion should help me with no more pain and of course limited movement.

, but do not overdo it , the body can take some pain if you can ' focus ' , did they start yet with NSAID ? cause especially after the op thats important , if its strong probably it will not hurt to take something to protect your stomach like ranitidine or so , ...

make sure you get the generic versions so the cost stays a bit lower and they are just as good , ...

if you are not allergic to morphine and if you will have a lot of pain , try it , its probably a lot better and will cause less interactions with other meds you might take like antibiotics etc , ...

after the op and even now it will not hurt to take some vitamin and mineral tablets , like a combo tablet that has all in them

Ihave been on Darvocet (2 X 650 mg) X 3-4 times a day and using Ibuprofen (3 X 200 mg) mirror the Darvocet for now

I did get taken off Vicodin because my Orthopedic Surgeon didnt want me on it constatntly.

The others mentioned have been cumulative varieties over past 2 + years.

Yeah, i dont take any pain meds during day as need focus at work.

I do remember I had to take an antibiotic last surgery, it smelled kinda like sulfur, as i had edemia (swollen red possbile infectious area)

Ok, thanks for the input, my surgeon is Dr. Richard Moore, who is on the Duke Medical Board, very highly respected in his field.

Darvocet creates dependencies , ...

so no NSAID ?

and use the generic variants , they are cheaper , no need to pay the full price , ...

My doctor stated Ibuprofen to help extend the pain relief from the darvocet

yeah , check your urine and do a special blood test to see how your liver and kidneys are doing , .... cause taking it a long time is no good for them !!

since the op will be on the bone , muscle , tendon area , ask your doc when you will get a NSAID , cause its strange you would not get one , ... and it will also help with the pain , and it may go far with that , Piroxicam at least should be given , 30 - 45 mil gram day and last but not least you should get some Ranitidine for your stomach so you dont end up with a hole in it , ...

you would be best to drink a lot of soy milk for your system , it will help a long way to recovery ! and the non genetic ones like Alpro Soya

the darvo plus ibu are really heavy on your system , you might not feel it now , but you will at a later stage if you are not carefull , ...

Yes sir, having come from a life of drug abuse and alcohol abuse, sexual :ibido deep as an ocean Abyss, I am very happy to report my liver functions are monitored every 4 months.

Triglicerides (sp) have been a key point of focus.

My cholesterol level is good.

My blood pressure is now excellent for over 4 years.

I am a type two diabettic but average low 90's on count.

But I do have unfortunate side effects, well, cant allways show up to bat in order I am needed at times.

But am feeling overall good except the constant pain my wrist is in.

I hate seeming like I am complaining, just well, it is not as easy as some would think, unable to concentrate or sleep well


Soon I hope to have great relief.
