My understanding is that if you used direct deposit, you got it on May 16 (I got both my rebate and my tax refund that day). If you're waiting on a check via snail-mail, those are going to trickle out between now and mid-July.

The price of tickets go up as the date of the flight gets closer. Want to book a flight 3 months from now? Cheap. Want that same flight 3 days from now? That will cost you.

Of course, you need to know when you are leaving and returning, and have the money available to book early.

Skanky, for some unknown reason that applys to the whole world except the Phils. (Maybe all asia too, dunno) In the past some of the best deals have come within the three months prior to the flight. However with the fuel costs I'm concerned that trend may reverse this go round.
