Yes, there certainly is such a thing as the truth. Is this the benefit of free speech, that we don't know if truth is an actual thing or not?

? If there are different perceptions about an event how is one know what the "one truth" is to the matter? Is it ever possible to know? If it is never possible to know the "one truth", how can we be sure of its existance?
