My grandfather used to tell us he drove a truck in the war.

Then we found out he never got shipped overseas. He was trucking supplies between bases in Quebec.

Then he started telling us he was a camp cook for a while in the war.

Turns out, he ****ed off and didn't show up for duty on one particular occasion, and got thrown in military prison, where he peeled potatoes (thus making him a "cook").


My grandfather shouldn't run for president, and I guess neither should I
