Answer me this. Let's say I walk around downtown in Dallas holding hands with my SO for 20 minutes. Do I hear any derogatory comments?

Then, you walk through NYC or Chicago, Detroit and tell me Dallas is worse.

I've been to NYC and Detroit. NYC is better, Detroit is worse, Chicago I've no idea.
But Dallas is up there with Detroit.

In downtown Dallas. I don't believe you. Oaklawn and Cedar Springs isn't far from downtown. Did the rose vendors give you static when you didn't fall for their dialogue ?

Are Oaklawn and Cedar Springs where the gay people live?

Depends on where in Chicago. A lot of it you'd catch some flak, but downtown or north probably nothing.
At worst someone would tell you two to "mind the gap".
I'm consitently stupid- Japher I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned
You could walk down the street in Wilma and Fred Flinstone costumes and get no comments.

I appreciate the support, Mr Fun.
I'll bet 10 dollars that within a year, no, I'll make it like giving odds; I'll bet that within 6 months of the presidential change, there's a massive terrorist attack in the USA and/or an assasination.
Line forms over here. Bet me.
I'll take that bet
One condition: it has to be a foreign attack, no Oklahoma/anthrax/Una bomber type of thing.

Would they be accusing me of being British if they said that?
