Yeah -- sometimes I think that there are too many gay men who are either apathetic about equal marriage rights or are negatively cynical about it: "Why should we care about equal rights to be as miserable as married heteros?"

Actually, I don't see it that way. I'm negatively cynical about the institution, but I'm all for allowing any gay person to legally get married.

Our local gay community, Wilton Manors, the 4th largest gay community in the U.S., decided to split up the parade and street festival this year.
