Yeah, thats what I was thinking Lancer, I know lots about that
For real, external pressures, even minute, will cause cracking
Just a suggestion, grout between tiles but preferably caulking along wall area.
Just suggesting
If the grout is made and mixed, be very careful of water amount added, due to shrinkage, not sure if its even available, most grouts are non-shrink so not an issue.

Thanks GT. I thing Sho puts so little room between tiles because it never freezes or even gets too cold there. Still, this is just the outdoor shower. When he does the house I'm going to have him put a little more room between tiles. Perhaps 1/8 inch or just a little less.Long time member @ Apolyton

Never had the patience for doing tile, myself. There's a marble place here locally that builds cusom surrounds out of solid pieces of marble for comparable prices to nice tiles. Can't wait to replace our showers, but I fear I'll need to re-grout before that can happen.
