You have absolutely NO IDEA what her circumstances are. Your posts are full of assumptions.

Derogatory? Well I guess that is a matter of definition. I think limiting the number of children they can have (how many can they have Pat? Are they allowed any?) is pretty ****in derogatory.

I see a woman working at a crap job to pay for her family rather than rely on the state for handouts. That is deserving of credit in my books. Too bad *******s like you think poor people shouldn't have kids.

Niether do you, but will notice i am commenting based on what we actually know, while you are...

      full of assumptions.
      Funny that.

Derogatory? Well I guess that is a matter of definition. I think limiting the number of children they can have (how many can they have Pat? Are they allowed any?) is pretty ****in derogatory.
Who said she can't have as many children as she wants? Me? Feel free to quote me. Does the facts of this article pretty much prove she can?

Does that mean it is smart? Honeslty, given what we know, are you going to maintain that it was a smart move to pop out four children?

I see a woman working at a crap job to pay for her family rather than rely on the state for handouts. That is deserving of credit in my books. Too bad *******s like you think poor people shouldn't have kids.
Please point out where I said her working to support her kids is a bad thing. Then point out where I said she shouldn't be allowed to have kids (and spear me your predictable quibling about my tongue in cheak first post, we both know I don't want to sterilize people ).

In fact, give that what I have said in total, please point out where any of the positions you have just thrown at me are supported, when in fact all I said was it is stupid to have four children when your econmic situation doesn't support it.

Enjoy searching for quotes in vain.

I didn't realize your fast food joints were 100K a year jobs.

Okay. 100K is your income bar for 4 kids. Otherwise you might be a complete ******.

If you wish to argue she is not a complete ****** for having four kids while single and that doing so was not a disserive to her children feel free, I will try not and laugh.

You assume she had four kids while single. Yes, you.

I assume that if she had a sob story the article would have included it.

Another assumption, by your own admission.

Again, given here economic prospects as the type of service employee she is (way to be a presumptious ****er to assume all serive employees have low economic prospects) it was hardly a smart or charitable decision to bring four children into this world.

Yes, I presumed all service employee sectors are low wage.

We were talking about "counter-help", the largest single segment of the industry.

And being this is a "look at evil corporations stomping on the little people" thread,

In part, although I did point out the affection the Cdn public feels for this company.

if there was some sob story about why she has four children when obviously having little prospect to provide for them adequately we would have heard about it.

        Oops, another assumption.

Niether do you, but will notice i am commenting based on what we actually know, while you are...

        Oh really?

Who said she can't have as many children as she wants? Me? Feel free to quote me. Does the facts of this article pretty much prove she can?

Sorry, I should amend. Unless you make 100K a year you are a complete ****** to have four kids. Better?

Does that mean it is smart? Honeslty, given what we know, are you going to maintain that it was a smart move to pop out four children?

Maybe she had four kids while married Pat?

Knock off the assumptions and spare me your contempt for the poor. It's clear where you stand.

No, it is an example of one that would be. Do you wish to declare 100K is not? It would be a nice position to add to your current sinking one.

You assume she had four kids while single. Yes, you.
No, I didn't. She is single, as the article says, so until you have a source that says otherwise to assume she was any other status is, well, an assumption. YOUR assumption.

Another assumption, by your own admission.
Unfortunetly for you, one that has nothing to do with my comment you are throwing a temper tantrum over. You fail, again.

Yes, I presumed all service employee sectors are low wage.

We were talking about "counter-help", the largest single segment of the industry.
You might be supprised how much of the counter help you recieve comes from owners of companies.

In any case, this tangent of yours is irrelevant because 1.) I never made any comment about the service industry but rather 2.) a specific job at a specific service industry company at a specific location and 3.) it was not derogatory regardless, unless pointing out that a specific job is in fact low paying is derogatory (and its not)

In part, although I did point out the affection the Cdn public feels for this company.
              Exactly. Apply.

              Oh really?
Yes. Lets go over the facts we know rather than what you are assuming.

              1.) Single.
              2.) Four kids.
              3.) 27
              4.) Low paying McJob.

              Thats it.

Sorry, I should amend. Unless you make 100K a year you are a complete ****** to have four kids. Better?
              You used to be beautiful

You have overreacted, admit it and move on.

Maybe she had four kids while married Pat?
Maybe, but unfortunetly that is yet another assumption based on nothing on your part.

Knock off the assumptions and spare me your contempt for the poor. It's clear where you stand.
Is young and prolific child birth by already poor women, especially single, not one of the prime factors in perpetual poverty? And you think you care about the poor

Wow, that was the toughest "in vain" ever

They started as a donut shop but have morphed into more of a cafe. Stopping at Timmies is the closest thing Cdns have to a religious ritual. I still go for the coffee but I suspect most of their business these days come from food sales.

Their presence in the community is considerable. Not only do many Cdns stop there (I was at two different outlets today) many teenagers have worked there part-time as their first job (my younger sister was one). Add to that the community involvement in paying for and opening pools for public swims and supporting minor hockey across the country, among other good will deeds, and you can see why they usually have good PR.

And yes, a Timbit is a donut hole.

Ah, a student of the Oerdin school of debate I see. When your baseless assumptions about what someone must have meant even though their actual words don't support it., resort to disecting grammer.

Does she have four kids? Is she single? Then she has four kids while single.

And btw, is not the default single anyway? You are born that way right? Being single now and with no information besides that, don't you have to assume she was married before for that status to have ever been different? The answer is yes, this means you are making unfounded assumptions yet again.

So I will go ahead and say it what you imagined I said earlier, that from what we know from the article she had the kids out of weddlock.

As I said before, I am more than willing to change that if more information comes about. Until then we know what we know. If you wish to manufacture what ifs so you can believe what you want go ahead. Why not giver her a nobel prize? Its not like the article sais she hadn't won one, right?

I'll let the thread speak for itself.
Indeed, you look like Sloww in a Texas thread, only you are serious and thus far more tragic

So this is where you admit you were and apoligize for bieng wrong in your accusations that I

                        1.) Belittled the working poor
2.) Hold service industry jobs in low esteem
3.) Do not appreciate her working to support her family
4.) Assumed she was being supported by the government.

It is nice to see that you have failed to argue against

1.) the intelligence of having children given her economic position.

                                or argue for

2.) any of the other half dozen accusations you have made against me in this thread not supported by anything I said.

Where did I degrade the service industry again? The fact is my comment was both reasonable and supported, you simply overreacted. There really is no rational way for you to disagree with my comment, so if retreating to personal attacks is all you have left so be it, but you usually don't resort to such childish things.
