Pakistan is Asia, Myanmar is Asia, but India's not?
No, those two are part of teh Indian Continent.
Srsly, if Europe can count as a continent because it juts out of Asia, is culturally distinct, and is separated from it by a tall mountain range, India is even more so a continent

In Russia, we have two separate concepts: continents, and, um, parts of the world. Six of them in each case.
Continents include Eurasia and two Americas, parts of the world include a single America, Europe and Asia.
India is sometimes called a subcontinent, because it's tectonically separate from Asia, though it pushes really hard to be one with it.
Btw, what *tall* mountain range are you talking about?

India is a sub-continent. Lesser, if you will. Under, beneath, second-rate, you get the idea.
I'm consitently stupid- Japher I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

Well, Pauline Reage was probably trying to say that the Russian was a bit retarded.
Slow, in other words.
I mean, they did fall for the whole Communism/Stalinism bit. And they couldn't outwit the Germans in the Great Patriotic War. And they seem to swallow Putin's shenanigans.
There are 1.12 billion people in India + 1.32 billion in China. Assume the average person in those countries weighs 70kg (this should be an overestimate) and can jump 2 meters (i.e. translate the center of mass from one point to another point 2 meters higher; this should also be an overestimate). Such a jump would impart ~2750 joules, so all of them jumping once would impart ~6.69 trillion joules.
The Indian plate is moving north at 5 cm/year.
...
Goddamnit. I can't find any data on the mass of the Indian plate, and I doubt I could even get within a couple orders of magnitude with a napkin estimate.
What if they jump from ladders and other higher places (broken limbs in the name of science)?
