Not at all. It is a fine move, almost reminiscent of Professor Smythe-Johnson's classic gambit in his 1954 epic with his three cats.

What MC player wouldn't notice a thread with Humph's name in the title that kept floating back to the top?

That said, I'd be in favor of renaming or starting a new thread for the benefit of those who aren't currently familiar with MC and might enjoy the game if exposed to it.
