Eh, it's a look-at-me thread. Oerdin is fully capable of ignoring the people who answer negatively. (That's one of his talents.) And it's obvious to any competent reader that you generally know what you're talking about, even if/when you're wrong. (That's why your posts are interesting and certain other posters' are not.)

Eh. You're pretty knee-jerk liberal, and opinionated, but not as bad as some. Besides, I'm fairly opinionated myself.

You're a bit clingy to the youth rights issue.

The injustices pervade society through and through. Some of the things you complain about, simply effect everyone without exception.

But you've got to pick your battles, so whatever.

You are young and idealistic, like pretty much all young men. Do consider the message in this quote, though.

When I was young, I wanted to change the world. I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my country. When I realize I could not change my country, I began to focus on my town. I could not change my town and being older, I tried to change my family. Now being old, I realize the only thing I can change is myself. Suddenly I realize that if long ago if I had changed myself,
I could have made an impact on my family. My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the country and I could indeed could have changed the world.

Youth rights? You must be thinking of someone else.

                          Mistaking Oerdin for Ozzy.

                          Serious answer to serious question:

Oerdin... you are (currently) a knee-jerk Dem partisan who has also displayed an unfortunate tendency toward being bigoted (vs Arabs/Muslims). Such things generally do not project intelligence.

You used to be ra-ra pro-Iraq-war, and I give you credit for changing your stance as the evidence and your experiences in Iraq failed to match up. I also give you credit for your service. Thanks Unfortunately, that seems to have pushed you to become a mirror image of the original Oerdin (but for the anti-Arab stuff).

You spout talking points/propoganda a lot. I have to wonder if that is b/c of your PsyOps background. Your political positions have changed, but your tactics have not.

Your emotions get in the way a LOT. You also break down into childish insult mode pretty quickly when challenged by certain foes who get under your skin.

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

I could answer, but I think you know. I miss the old Oerdin

                              I still like you though
