Banging tunes (vol. 56) Yet another new song thread
I bought Gorecki's 3rd symphony a while back and I never really listened to it. I probably wouldn't even recognize it if I heard it at a decent volume. Its on one of the playlists I listen to when I work (I mainly listen to classical during the day), but the volume on the Gorecki recording is so low, that I generally don't hear a thing when its playing. So if I suddenly notice that I hear nothing, I say to myself: "must be Gorecki's third"
Philip Glass - String Quartet no. 2 (Chronos quartet)

is there anything from P. Glass that you recommend me?
I have a couple of CD's, but I don't know him too well. Some of his early stuff is so repetitive, it drives me crazy. (It could be the Counterglow anthem, really) But I do enjoy "Kronos Quartet performs Philip Glass".
I don't know if you heard the joke:
- Knock, knock
- Who's there?
- Philip Glass
